Rulemaking that limits future EPA Administrators’ authority to veto projects under the Clean Water Act (CWA) & comprehensive review of legacy lawsuits and leftover Obama Biden era regulations are critical to restoring American manufacturing, energy, and mining

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Gentry Collins, CEO of the American Free Enterprise Chamber of Commerce (AmFree Chamber) outlined a deregulatory agenda for President Donald Trump to support our nation’s miners:

“After being kicked around by the Biden Administration for four long years, it’s refreshing to see a White House celebrate the men and women who work with their hands to keep our country running. As part of the overall deregulatory agenda, we encourage the White House and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to initiate rulemaking that limits future EPA Administrators’ authority to veto projects and developments under the Clean Water Act (CWA). Furthermore, it’s time to pause the legacy litigation so a robust policy review can be conducted of burdensome regulatory actions taken by the Obama and Biden administrations that stifle innovation, prevent American independence and dominance in the energy and critical mineral spaces.”
