After 11 states challenge White House repeal of CRA resolutions eliminating California’s oppressive and misguided vehicle emissions standards, AmFree Chamber promises to continue the fight in court
Washington D.C. – Today, the American Free Enterprise Chamber of Commerce (AmFree Chamber) lauded President Donald Trump for signing a trio of Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolutions eliminating California’s electric vehicle mandates and vowed further legal action against the 11 states already seeking to block the repeal:
“Promises made, promises kept from President Trump in rolling back these far-reaching and senseless green mandates that threatened to disrupt every corner of our economy,” said Gentry Collins, CEO of the AmFree Chamber. “California should not be allowed to force Americans into electric vehicles that consumers do not want and technology cannot support, all in service of an extreme green ideology that has been thoroughly discredited at every turn and rejected by voters. AmFree was proud to play a small part in the previous legal challenges to these mandates, and we stand ready to fight back against their efforts to resist so that common sense can prevail.”
